Is it us?

Rain.  Are we the only species that don't like it?  It's been pouring down most of the day; W was going to go out but decided against it and I only went out to pick up a train ticket and buy some white and black papers to use as backdrops for macro shots.  Not because I need them urgently, but just so I got out of the house.  But looking out of the back window the birds and animals have been in their element!  The birds have been feeding like mad, the squirrels were running round and round the tree trunks and leaping after each other, clearly having a wonderful time.  One kept digging up his nuts from the lawn and re-burying them.  Everything seemed to be loving the weather and almost full of the joys of Spring!
