Keeping watch
... or being nosy, as it's also known.
I was aware that my visitor, JJ, was alert to every sound of the comings and goings in the building, sounds that I don't even notice, so I unearthed our dear departed westie's window carpet and let JJ watch the hustle and bustle down in the street, which kept him amused for ages.
Earlier we had a lovely long walk round the village, a walk that usually takes me about 20 minutes, but with JJ emptying his tank and checking his pmails at every lamp- and gate-post, it took twice as long. I didn't mind, because the sun was shining and it felt good to be out.
The Christmas stuff has been put in mothballs, so the festive season is officially over in the MacFreuchie household.
