Halifax Public Gardens (Day 2)
After recovering from our long journey yesterday we had a leisurely day today. We found a nice little restaurant for breakfast, Cora. The Canadians really seem to like fruit for breakfast. Yum.
We then stalked squirrels around the Public Gardens opposite our hotel, laughed at the really fat geese and took a stroll around the Museum of National History. We discovered the most amazing little tea shop, Worlds End. Not only did they do delicious teas but also amazing chocolate avocado delightful things that I could eat. As we'd hired a car for the adventure we headed back to the Airport to collect The Boy's Sister, K who was also across for the wedding.
Of all the pictures of birds, animals, squirrels, starlings bathing in a river, I was drawn to this cactus. Smooth yet spiky, tiny flowers blooming in the sun.
Finally backblipping this holiday
