Finnair Sky Wheel

I think I've Blipped this perhaps before, but it's been grey grey and even greyer day with rain so I had to think of something with light to try my new camera on. Tomorrow starts Helsinki Lux so I'll have plenty of light even if it continues with grey days. In the background there's a ferry heading daily to Stockholm in it's Christmas lights. 

You can enjoy a ride in the Sky Wheel for 12€ and for 195€ you get a VIP box (the black one in the picture with glass floor) and a bottle of Champagne.

A lot to learn with my new camera. I think I'll even need to study parts of the manual (hate that!). So far it feels really good and I'm amazed with the light intensity (if that is what it actually is called in English). And the case remote that we bought earlier as a crown funding event works with this Canon. Lots to learn and try... I might have to stop working and just take photographs :-D

Oh! I really enjoyed yesterday's Opera Die Fledermaus. There were lots of guest soloist including young and amazing Tai Oney who has remarkable voice. He's kind of like a male soprano! He might become a superstar of Opera world IMHO.
