We drove through the night, about 12hrs on the road & home by 7am.... its not a trip i'd want to do often - waaaay too long to be sitting in any car.
Shower & a few hours sleep before starting the endless loads of washing - another holiday pitfall is always the unpacking.  It seems so much easier to put it into the bag/car.

Followed by shopping. The holiday vibe is easily stifled by all this domestic blissticity.

For some reason we thought it would be a great idea to have people over for a BBQ...so we unpacked the giant pick-up-stix & connect4 sets we recently obtained. Its rather an amusing way to spend time with friends - games of our childhood in oversized proportions.  For the record, I won.

Whipped up a batch of vegetarian red curry - & to my surprise it was rather good. The vegetarian was also pleased with my offering.

So, blip has gone polaroid - keen to see how this changes our day-to-day posting (if at all)
