Summertime Blues

The Christchurch Pop Up Concert Series in association with the Inner City East Community Events Group celebrates the New Year with a free outdoor concert in the lovely Beverley Park in Linwood. Summertime Blues is yearly laid back informal Pop Up event organized and presented by Celtic Soul and Blues icon Isabella Miller Bell Aka Ma Bell supported by Christchurch City Council Creative Communities funding.
This year's concert brings together a selection of Christchurch's top acoustic Jazz Blues & Celtic Renaissance musicians, songwriters and composers. including Radius (Harry Harrison & Justine S ) Jon Maxim Hooker, James Wilkinson & Ma Bell & the Blue Tones featuring Danny Wilson on Sax & Flute.

About 400 Whanau and friends, brought a picnic & dancing shoes and enjoyed a relaxed early evening in the great outdoors listening to some of the best acoustic sounds your likely to hear anywhere on the planet today.
