Rest Bay Hotel, Porthcawl.

This fine old building overlooking Rest Bay is now empty and for sale with a price tag of £1.5m. In its 150 year history, it has been both a hotel and a convalescent home. I just hope that the buyer/developer makes full use of the existing building within a wonderful setting and doesn't just knock it down and put a concrete carbuncle in its place!
