Feelin' hot, hot, hot!

When it's 30+ degrees at 10 pm, you know you're in for a sticky, uncomfortable night.

After a hot drive home, we returned to a house with no water. The cows had been around the house and had trampled the pipes attached to the water tank. After some discussion, Mr Barking headed off to an irrigation store and managed to restore the tank so that we could have much need showers after a week without running water! I'm so impressed by my husband!

I went to bed fairly early but didn't get much sleep because of the heat.

Oh well, c'est la vie.

In two weeks' time, we'll be leaving the farm; I wanted to get a shot of it before we go.
