Sitting On A Fence

This (wood?) pigeon has been a regular visitor for a long time now but has always been reluctant to hang around to be blipped. It's spent a lot of time in the garden today and suddenly decided it trusted me enough to let me get close with the camera for a decent shot. (Pigeon pie for dinner tomorrow!)

I also found myself in a second role at Tess's Playgroup today (following my Santa impersonation at Christmas), this time as emergency Press photographer taking shots of a visit from the Forest School, involving the children in some outdoor activities. Didn't want to post one of these without parental permission though.
