After the rain

Colours in the garden seem so vibrant and fresh after the rain.
The Acer is Petes favourite plant . This year it was slightly frost damaged as it was unfurling but even so is a pleasure to look at.
The house chores have been attended to (mostly), and I took a walk down to the Boating Lake before tea in search of a blip.
House still feels very quiet since the little family have gone home.
