Taking the Old Girl Out

This chap & his missus were at Lake Opuha this afternoon, with their 1930 Ford Model A. It's an American car, originally from Colorado. He bought it from the owner in California, had it shipped to NZ, changed it to right-hand drive, and Bob's your uncle!
It's unusual to see a car like this in worn condition, on the road; usually they've been completely restored, whereas this one hasn't been painted since forever, and looks like it's been driven every day since the day it rolled off the production line.
