A Walk in the Bush
Today Blip Buddy and I drove to a local reserve to walk through the bush. Under the canopy it was quite dark and without tripods, we struggled to get a photograph. There was no lack of subject matter - a fantail accompanied us, bees and wasps sucked the honeydew on the huge beech trees, paths wound through the ferns, fallen trees sported mosses and lichens but what was lacking was light.
In a slightly more open area I managed to get this shot which to me typifies the NZ bush.
