Canal walk

This morning the 7 year olds walked along the local canal after having looked for any Trolls that might be hiding under the nearby little Troll Bridge. Perhaps the trolls were frightened by the sticks and maybe they captured some of the Pooh Sticks which disappeared beneath the footbridge across the river. The large stick was very useful as I walked down the steep slippy path through what A described as like walking "in thick melted chocolate" but we managed to find some large puddles to clean our boots.
