More Pipeline Markers

These markers indicate the course of the Sweet Waters of Comiston from the cistern to the reservoir at Castlehill. Unlike those set in walls, the numbers 5 or 7 are less clear, the material is coarser so erosion may be a factor and as a result their importance may not be recognised.

As these are the only ones marked on the map I was under the impression that there were no others, but in fact two similar blocks are located, also in the park, a few hundred yards to the south, again their numbers are not clear. 

Assuming I'm still blipping there are still a few blips to be had in the Comiston Springs series - this one loaded itself without my text and without hitting the Publish button. If I can find a way I'll add links to the previous blips.
