Being WildCardinal...

Owain Glyndŵr

After a very wet afternoon yesterday (which ended up with a very nice meal at the pub in the evening), this morning arrived bright and sunny.

An early start to get away in good time to head home, though I did stop off in Corwen on the way home.  The statue in the main street is to Owain Glyndŵr; a Welsh hero and the last Welsh Prince of Wales, but a thorn in the side of the English.  History, or more likely - legend, holds that he was buried near Corwen, hence the statue.

Got home in good time, and spent the afternoon clearing Christmas from the house.  Decorations down, trees cleared to the garage.  It all looks rather bare!
