In spite of the snow and fog in the Munich area, our flight to Amsterdam with KLM was on time and very easy.

By the time we'd got ourselves into the city and to the apartment, we had time for a 90 minute wander around the canal area. 

It's Dr D's first visit to Amsterdam, and my umpteenth, so I have my tour guide hat on. 

So far we have avoided the red light district and all smelly coffee shops.

We enjoyed a mini meat fest in an Argentinian restaurant in the evening, so it will be veggies for the next couple of days. 

The Blip is the view from the front of the apartment. We're in Westerpark, just west of Jordaan.
