Inside Out

Sums up how I feel about Blipfoto's news.  I suppose it makes sense now - the transition to a more uniform web page look,.  Maybe I'm wrong but am really disappointed that Blipfoto has 'sold out' to Polaroid.  One of the things I really liked about Blipfoto was that it was a Scottish venture and somehow retained an essence of that in spite of having such a large global membership.  Now it is something else and am wondering when additional things like advertising will start happening.  I do not feel compensated by having a free year of membership, I would've been happy to pay for that on the basis of really wanting to be a member.  Apologies for sounding so negative, I've been trying hard not to be.  It is a very minor event in the grand scale of things, a first world problems as K would say.  And I do understand that nothing stays the same, but just wish that change didn't so often result in things actually not being better.  I really hope I am proved wrong in this case.
