world in a grain of sand

market day

Banbury town has a pleasantly old fashioned feel, and never more than on market day. There are a couple of fruit and veg stalls, a charming fabric stall man who let both Ithaca and me take pictures of his stock - and the butcher who keeps up an almost continous monologue. He caught some interest at this moment anyway. The other stalls are quite an electic mixture including some antique/vintage stalls, a stall with mobility aids and one that sells - or offers for sale! more fleece than Banbury can surely cope with.
