Henry Blogg, G.C. B.E.M.

Commemorated by this bust, festively decorated, on Cromer seafront, Henry Blogg was Coxswain of the Cromer Lifeboat from 1909 - 1947. He won the RNLI Gold Medal for Conspicuous Gallantry on three occasions and their Silver Medal on four occasions. During his 53 years of service in the lifeboats, he saved 873 lives with the help of his brave crew.
