Doune Castle
Doune Castle sits on the banks of the River Teith about eight miles from Stirling. It is a medieval stronghold. Originally built in the thirteenth century it was rebuilt in its present form in the fourteenth century. It was used in the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
