New Pirates a Govt Apprenticeship scheme

Took a leisurely wander down to Mevagissy this morning to chew the cud with Swillin' Billy and Kitty at the Lavender Pillow. 

The boys were really shocked because despite me telling them that SB is a real pirate they thought I was kidding. The look of amazement on the younger sprogs face says it all. James, the elder, has been allotted a berth as cabin boy, mobile target and anchor polisher. Dan is to be a powder monkey. How else will they get the gunpowder to the bottom of the barrel.

Lunch at the Old School when we got back. Both boys dislike Grandpa's Guinness, that will change with time.
