Kestrel

Went for a walk in Parkgate this morning where it was blowing a gale.

We were on our way back to the car when I saw this kestrel being buffeted by the wind.  He eventually managed to drop down onto the roof of the pub to shelter from the wind.

Lucky for me, he stayed long enough for me to get a few shots of him.
