He thought I was joking...

When Mr A came into the kitchen with this thing-a-ma-bob to sharpen a kitchen knife (a gizmo picked up at the motorcycle show in November), I remarked that it would make a fantastic nail file. He told me it would take my nails off - but he was wrong. It does make a fantastic nail file (both hands now manicured beautifully) so he may need to search for it on my dressing table in future...

P.S. I have been proper poorly since Christmas, so it was a bit of a subdued time and birthday for Mr A.
