Sunshine on Leaf

Sorry about the title - it was my daughter's idea. She was humming 'Sunshine on Leith' at the time!

Out for my usual daily walk around the garden to check for trees down, overflowing ponds, lost people etc. A chilly morning, with a brisk wind and intermittent sunshine.

I was looking for something to match the title and found Rhododendron edgeworthii, formerly and more descriptively Rh bullatum. A lovely, tender species from N India, Yunnan, Bhutan, SE Tibet and NE Upper Burma.  And Arduaine Garden.
