Happy New Year!

First blip of the year! I didn't really want it to be a back blip but nevermind...

We didn't have too early a start, 7.45 which is practically a lie in. We started the day making a list of school holidays for the year and planning trips to see family/friends so Chris could book the days off we needed. It's probably more organised than we have been before but Amelie starting school means we have to be less spontaneous.

In the afternoon we drove up to the park and Amelie had a go on her new bike. She just can't seem to get to grips with pedalling! Bless her. Isaac ran wild in the park and we took them both home exhausted.

We had an early dinner and I had a bath with both of them. Then isaac fell asleep and Amelie stayed up an hour later than normal playing Lego, buckaroo and doing a jigsaw with me.

Not a bad start to the year!
