Nature's watercolours
This morning I walked through Stromovka Park. Unfortunately I couldn't walk to the metro along my usual path because of a lot of nasty, slippery black ice ... but I did manage a few minutes in the park, just a few minutes after sunrise. The soft light, the pale wash of clouds, and the stark beauty of the leafless trees captured my attention. I have a B&W version of this one as well, which I love because of the contrast. But I couldn't resist posting nature's watercolour today. :)
I am glad the rain didn't start until later in the morning. On a positive note, the warmer temperatures have made the paths and roads safer by melting much of the ice. Not for long though, I fear, as snow is forecast for the next three days.
