climbing..........

....the guy who works in my garden came running to tell me to get my camera - there is a chameleon in the tree!!  Sure enough this little fellow was climbing the tree. We watched while he tried to climb quite a tricky area and then he fell on the ground!  He looked around (as chameleons do) and then scampered off really quickly into the grass by which stage he had turned into a lovely dark green and brown mix.  Quite fascinating how nature works!  I followed him until he went below the hedge out of sight.  It was interesting that the dog from next door almost stepped on him and never noticed him, he had such good camouflage!
