Vintage Champagne (Not)

Happy New Year to all!

Another nice day today. After the celebrations last night we (mostly) had a lazy start to the day. I had a short walk along The Embankment in Bedford to move our daughter's car into the hotel car park which had been full when she arrived last night.

After a late breakfast we called in at Mrs madwill's sister's house in Bedford for coffee.

It took a couple of hours to drive home - it was a bit windy but there was little traffic on the roads so we made good time and got home just before dark.

We had put a bottle of champagne in the fridge before we went away and it was nicely chilled.

As you can see it is now empty....
