Pick me up

New Year's day and what better way to pass the time after dinner than the ancient Scottish tradition of 'tossing the wean'. In the sumer months, of course, it would be cabers that would be tossed, but in the dark and inclement Scottish winter what better way to keep your eye in than heaving a child or two about the place. Preferably your own child, but any one to hand will do just as well.

Slightly out of focus, but then so was the camera operator after a few glasses of Maker's Mark Bourbon and an assortment of malt whiskies.
