Is That A Giant Party Ring...

... or are you just pleased to see me?

This is a detail from a carved wooden chest I inherited from my grandmother. No doubt it will appear in blip form again in the future because there's a lot of detail on it.

While investigating Party Rings just now I found out they were first made in 1983. Wowsers! I thought they'd been around for ever. I am definitely a 'party ring child'.
