Light Year

It's been lashing with rain and blowing a  gale all day so my plans to try the new camera at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve were dashed.

Apart from chasing a dog out of the garden, going to the bin and taking Harriet to work I have stayed indoors, messed about, watched a camera tutorial DVD and started thought about doing my tax return.

Desperate for a blip I have been experimenting with exposure and shutter speeds trying do a light painting. I think I failed miserably but here is one of my better attempts using a naked flame rather than a torch.
