Happy New Year to you all.
As is tradition, we all went to my Mum's for dinner today.  We had a fantastic meal, of which I had seconds of everything, particularly the dumpling :-)
I gave my Mum this funny little squirrel chap at Christmas, he's a nutcracker. You pop a nut between his paws and his mouth and push his tail down and he cracks the nut! Very silly - she loves it! He looked very at home on the sideboard so I thought a little still life would be my blip today.  I could have blipped the magnificent dumpling, but it didn't hang around!
I like to go out for a walk on New Year's day but it was foul weather today so we gave that a miss.
