First day of the new year

An extra two seats for the traditional new year steak pie and all the trimmings at our house today.  Tatiana and Ken are over from Rome, and have been staying in Dunfermline this week, so were invited for the first meal of the year, 

We had a big game of Uno for 7 afterwards and then Ben got a lesson in Russian:-)

A wet, windy and mild start weatherwise.  When we took mum home at 9pm it was 11.5 degrees outside!
