Idle hands

I saw a picture on the 'net a few weeks back that was taken by using a laptop screen as a background and a polarising filter on the lens. It seems that laptop screens are polarised, and when you put two polarising elements  together you get some "different" results when photographing plastic items such as this filter case.  (Besides, I was looking for a  lazy blip and  I don't know if I'm catching the boss' cold, or whether it's purely self-inflicted from last night.)
