Sunrise over the mountains

We planned to photograph Castelnou at sunrise this morning having been in the area  at  sunset the other day. Its one of the 'Plus Beaux Villages' of France and looks quite photogenic nestled on a hillside amongst the mountains. Unfortunately we hadn't counted on the sun taking quite so long to get over the mountains and hit the village. We had a flight home to catch today so couldn't hang around long enough so abandoned the idea and photographed sunrise over the nearby mountains instead. We'll have another go when we're next in the area. 
I'm back home now and will try to catch up on looking at photos and commenting having eventually got up to date with my entries. The last 2 weeks of photos (apart from 22nd, 23rd Dec which were taken in Barcelona) are of the Pyrenees Orientales region of France.
