Hogmany Spirit 2014

Here's the "Whisky Spirit" I bought at the market yesterday.  It is in an enamel bottle that comes in a nice cloth bag and with a proper Glen Cairn whisky glass engraved with "Eden Mill" on it. It would have made a good Christmas present if they had only issued them earlier! As you can see this bottle is unopened, I have yet to decide if I should keep it as a collectors piece (there are only 448 bottles) or drink it! They will be releasing a small batch of bottles each year and I'll be given the option to buy one. It is tempting to keep it and end up with a full set... but truthfully they probably won't be worth a great deal for many years (if ever), so I'll probably drink it!

P.S. The spelling on the label WAS a mistake (it should have been "Hogmanay"). I spoke to Paul (the proprietor of Eden.Mill) and he said he phoned the order through to the printers and asked his head brewer to check them, but he did not. Paul said he was going to withdraw the bottles and correct it but a number of people said they wanted the miss-spelled version so he let them go out.
