Evening after the night before

Today's the day .......................... to recover

Not a lot happening in the streets of Penicuik today.

The drizzly rain and dull conditions outside, made it a perfect day to nurse that hangover and slowly recover equilibrium with the world at large.

Not that any of that applied in this house, of course.  We were all as  bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as we usually are .............................
