Seeing the New Year in

Never been a big fan of staying up 'till midnight to see the New Year in. Much better, I think, to see it in the next day surrounded by family, fire roaring, wind and rain howling outside and, of course, an espresso martini* (made with decaf coffee, sadly): Happy New Year!

* The recipe isn't desperately authentic but it's easy and quick and tastes delicious! Take 50ml vodka, 50ml Bailey's, small squeeze of honey and a double shot of espresso. Shake with lots of ice and enjoy.
