Sushi... Again!
I've thoroughly enjoyed my first day of 2015. I woke quite early at 8.15am but stayed abed til 10am, chilling. I have to admit to still being in my pjs even now at 5pm! My house. My rules.
The boys had a late might too so only really emerged properly at noon and we decided that as I had a lot of sushi stuff left from last night and the boys had never made it before, that we'd have a sushi-making lunch. The boys loved it and we really ought to have made a bit more of it. I even made a japanese omelette which was a bit sweet for my taste but interesting and tasty nonetheless.
Just before we ate, C and S arrived with Teddy and Tilly (they'd been for a walk and lunch at Stowe) and we had a jolly time playing and laughing in the sitting room for most of the afternoon. I'm at my happiest when surrounded by my family, even if I am now almost always the oldest person there....
C and S have said yes please to taking our father's old leather topped desk for their study when their house is finished and I can now start looking for a suitable smaller replacement for my study.
C and T took two boys to MK shoe shopping while I stayed behind with young W and prepped our chicken fajita dinner. We really are world travellers food wise today. And all finger food too!
There's a plan for the whole clan (minus N and C who are away with friends) to meet up for lunch out, a visit to the house being renovated and a trip to Waddesdon Manor to see their Christmas lights tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that I must say.
