Shinty on the beach

Only there was no beach because of the wind and rain pushing in the sea so it was shinty in the yard! Its a tradition to have a shinty match at a neighbouring farm on new years day and not even the wind and rain could put people off. With hot soup and cakes to keep them going, good fun was had by many. Relaxing now in front of the stove with a glass of Prosecco and a chocolate orange.
