Snowmelt Runoff
The geographer in me was inspired to take this shot on our walk in southwest Loughborough this afternoon. It's a mini waterfall which is a temporary feature caused by the runoff from rapidly thawing snow. I guess it doesn't look prepossessing to you, but it fascinates me.
A lot of upmarket properties have been built/are being built on that side of Loughborough. No wonder Waitrose was interested in a store site, but Charnwood Borough Council dragged its feet so Waitrose pulled out. I'd love to have a Waitrose in Shepshed.
