Ringing in the New Year...

It's traditional to ring half muffled just before midnight to mourn the passing of the old year then open after midnight to welcome the new. However, there weren't enough takers for midnight ringing so instead we welcomed 2015 at 10.30 this morning with mulled wine and nibbles to accompany the ringing.
