Geese

Lots done today as I start my new job tomorrow. 

Took the baby blanket that I crocheted during the summer to its newly arrived owner. It was lovely to see my friend with her new baby and see how she is getting on. 

I cycled to her house along the river and then through town. Good to get some practice in as I'll be cycling to work from now on. There were lots of geese by the river meadow on the way back. A lady was feeding them and she was almost mobbed by the gang of swans, ducks, Canada gees and Greylag geese. 
I like the way the ripples on the river match the markings on the feathers.
