Back Lane

New Year!

Not the blue sky loveliness of the past couple of days but not bad.

The dog has taken us to places that we would not normally explore.

Bristol is full of back lanes. Some secure, some neat, some cobbled, some rough tracks.

Garages full of stuff other than vehicles.

Spent a happy 20 minutes scrubbing the boots clean from yesterday. A simple task but somehow satisfying.

A few slices of Christmas cake left and then ponder whether to take the decorations down.

Am I too early? Do I hold out until the 5th?
