Hogmanay

We walked to the Castle and the pub intending to welcome in the New Year with the annual fireworks display. Although it seemed a calm and mild night , there had been some windy conditions earlier and this was deemed bad enough to cancel the Castle concert and fireworks on the grounds of Health and Safety.A bit disappointing especially for those people who may have been visiting specifically for the celebrations. This sign then was a bit irrelevant. The lit building behind is Mar's Wark.
