Not quite the day I'd planned; we've usually battened down the hatches, switched off our phones and stopped checking emails at this point but this year we've got three jobs on the go over Christmas and New Year and more to come. 

In the morning we met up at one of the sites we're on at the moment and then I had to go to meet up with somebody I hadn't seen for a number of years about some potential work near here. 

As I was leaving to come home the sun was setting and catching buildings and clouds.
