Blast from the past

Checking out a cupboard I came across this old radio from 1950 in a deplorable condition. I thought that a restoration project may be worthwhile so I undertook the task.

It turned out to be more than I expected and very time consuming but the end result was certainly worth a photo for my Blip collection. 
After more than sixty years it still works and I think it could be classed as a "collectors Item".

Maybe a visit to E bay could be a go!!!
