NOC Literatury

We were delighted to produce NOC Literatury / Literature Night - a first for Edinburgh! - in partnership with the Scottish Poetry Library. The event happened last night, and we had a thoroughly lovely time.

Literature Night, organised by Czech Centres in cooperation with EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture), offers a platform to European countries to present their contemporary writing and to present new European literary voices in a creative way. It was delicious to think - while we were having our talks and stories and Bellinis in Edinburgh - that events were going on all over Europe, from Prague to Amsterdam, Warsaw to Sofia, and beyond.

So here's to all of our wonderful participants, and to all of you who joined us, to make it a special first. We're already scheming for 2013...
