Summer Marlborough Rock Daisies

Native New Zealand shrubs - Marlborough rock daisies (Pachystegia insignis) are compact, low-growing shrubs, grown as much for their attractive leathery leaves as their eye-catching daisy flowers. These are unusual as they are growing 200 metres above sea level in our Rotorua garden. these daisy shrubs usually like the warmth  of the coastal climate. The small native bees love the nectar from the flowers.
