Ellas protest

We took Ella food shopping this morning.  She was generally really good, walking around with Adam and placing things in her own little trolly.  But at one point she lay down on the floor in protest and Ad got this funny shot of her on Tesco floor!  Silly baby!
After shopping we came home and saw Adam's friends, Chris and Mpume for lunch.  It was nice to see them as they've been living in New York and it was the first trip they've made to the UK in 18 months.  It was also the first time we'd met Mpume which was great (always good to put a face and name together, and she does an amazingly interesting job working with the UN promoting Women's rights through cooking, as well as being a chef and food journalist in South Africa and America).
We had a chilled afternoon playing with Ella's new Christmas toys, before Ella went tired and to bed.
We've got a low key NYE planned....although that's not really different to what we did before Ella arrived!  Adam is currently cooking Jerk Turkey!  Hopefully it'll be nicer than it sounds.  It'll be our last bit of meat for a while as we've decided to have a meat free January after both feeling a bit meated-out after an indulgent Christmas.
